I just got home this May 7th from the movies where I and about 19 others just saw STAR TREK!!!!!!!

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!

Well now that I have rested I can tell you. It was Phenominal, It was fantastic, It was Fascinating.

And for all the changes that were made...It Works!!!!

Surprisingly, I did not see Quinto, Pine, Urban, Cho. I was worried that I would be seeing in my minds eye, Cho stoned at the Helm, or Pegg beating zombies in engineering but I didn't. I saw Spock, Kirk, Sulu, Chekov and the whole gang as if I were watching an episode of the original series. And Urban as McCoy...FLAWLESS.

The seriousness was conveyed harshly with the plight of the story while it was still able to make light of the dialogue and scenes from episodes and movies past without being derogatory or demeaning.

I am now not surprisedg that the studio ordered a Sequel prior to the movie even coming out.

Star Trek was worth the wait and I hope to see it again in theaters before it leaves.

A father watched his young daughter playing in the garden.

He smiled as he reflected on how sweet and pure his little girl was.

Tears formed in his eyes as he thought about her seeing the wonders of nature through such innocent eyes.

Suddenly she just stopped and stared at the ground.

He went over to her to see what work of God had captured her attention.

He noticed she was looking at two spiders mating.

'Daddy, what are those two spiders doing?' she asked.

'They're mating,' her father replied.

'What do you call the spider on top?' she asked.

'That's a Daddy Longlegs,' her father answered.

'So, the other one is a Mommy Longlegs?' the little girl asked.

As his heart soared with the joy of such a cute and innocent question he replied,

'No dear. Both of them are Daddy Longlegs.'

'The little girl, looking a little puzzled, thought for a moment, then lifted her foot and stomped them flat.

'Well, we're not having any of that gay shit in our garden' she said.


See, I told you…just brings a tear to your eye.

I am now 7 months out and things are looking better so far this year. I have been Drawing in what little spare time I have had in between work, caring for my Daughter and getting my house ready to sell. I will post them as soon as I get them done. Hope Everyone likes them.

Looking forward to the LAST episode of BSG tonight. Glad to see RDM came forward and said that the Daniel talk needs to stop. Daniel is just part of the Cylon back story and has no bearing on Starbuck or tonight's episode.

Saw Watchmen. I liked it and I think it Worked for the Medium. I did miss a lot of the things that made the Comic so great but there is only so much you can do without turning it into a Trilogy like so many other films that are out these days. I also liked the Change to the ending, It was more fitting for the movie.
